Please note, with many of these applications, it is recommended (and in some cases, necessary) that you check frequently for updates, whether it’s to the software itself, or the virus definitions, etc., to be properly protected against viruses, malware, security issues, and bugs. If multiple users are running the software within your environment, each user must regularly perform the necessary checks for updates to their system to ensure optimal protection against threats. Many (if not all) of these programs can be disabled by the end user. If you make the decision to integrate any of these tools into your business environment, it is very important that you ensure that individual users do not disable the software at any time.
