Job Title: Sales Associate

Reports To: Director of Business Development

FLSA Status: Exempt

Department: Sales


Summary:  Looking for an aggressive salesperson with the ability to network and leverage business relationships to create opportunities and close sales.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. (Other duties may be assigned.)

  • Maintain a Monthly Sales Quota (as defined by Director of Business Development)
  • Evaluate, recommend, and execute new sales pertaining to Managed Services, telecom, infrastructure, networking, mobility, virtualization, cloud-based solutions, and Carrier Services
  • Work with Director of Business Development to create new sales initiatives
  • Ability to work in a variety of environments, have excellent follow-up skills, provide detailed documentation, and be able to work effectively and independently
  • Participate in proposal creation, product research, and sales meetings with prospective clients and networking events
  • Attend local networking events through the Chamber of Commerce and participate in sales networking groups. (Attendance at evening events will occasionally be required.)

Associates Degree or Equivalent

5+ years in outside sales experience

Prior consulting experience in a technology field is highly desirable

An acceptable combination of above education/experience
