*This is a field service position and qualified candidates must reside within 1 hour of our main location in 4289 Route 50, Saratoga Springs NY 12866.Submissions with a home address not from our region will be rejected, candidates from outside US will be blacklisted as they obviously do not meet this requirement.

*The position will require an extensive background check.

*Candidate MUST have network and server experience.

Microsoft Server 2008 through the most current versions. Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 and Hyper-V.

Network experience to include routing and switch experience. The preferred candidate will have a (Cisco) skillset including ASA, Router, Meraki, Sonic Wall, Fortinet experience. IPS, VLAN, QOS, VPN preferred.

General Description

Summary: Responsible for meeting customer computer needs as they relate to hardware and software installation by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Perform Remote Proactive Services via our RMM system. Play a lead role in system installations, set up and configuration according to specifications.Train customers on hardware and software use. Maintain customer communications to assure the smooth operation of systems installed. Direct any customer requests, inquiries and/or concerns to appropriate individual(s) as needed. Communicate status of accounts on a regular basis. Maintain current knowledge levels on existing products and/or acquire knowledge on emerging technology. Consult with TAMS (Technical Account Managers) in setting expectations related to hardware, software or systems functional specifications to ensure scope of service and meeting customer expectations. Available for off-hours and after-hours support for customers and internal infrastructure. Act as technical liaison for customers and projects. Provide both internal and external customer training on products and services. Perform COM Remote Proactive Service via our Multi-Network Enterprise management system as required.
